Judge announced for Landscape Art Prize

The Swiss Italian Festa is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Mallyon as the judge of the Senior Section for the Landscape Art Show being held over the weekend of 21-24 October, 2021.  Greg has a vast amount of experience and we are thrilled that he has agreed to judge the Senior Section of the Art Show.

Greg Mallyon              painter and printmaker              Artist biography 2021

Greg holds a Diploma in Fine Art (QCA) Graduate Diploma in Art Education (QUT) and a Master in Art (COFA, UNSW).

He has held 38 solo exhibitions in most Australian capital cities and also in Singapore, Honolulu, Digne des Bains, Provence (France) and Zagreb (Croatia). He has participated in over 70 group exhibitions including commercial galleries in Rome , Taipei and Singapore as well as the New Q exhibition NGV , Melbourne  and Next Wave Festival , Melbourne .He has also been represented at 10 international art fairs in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne ,Hong Kong and Singapore.

In recent years he has been a finalist in 7 national art awards and has been selected for artist residencies including Can Serrat International Art Centre, Barcelona ( 2011), the Scuola di Graphica Internazionale, Venice ( 2013 ) and CAP print studio Chiang Mai, Thailand ( 2017 ).

Collections that include Greg’s work are Qantas, Newscorp, Charles Darwin University, BP Australia, The Executive Building, Hobart, ANZ Bank, Victoria University, Macquarie Park, Sydney, Broken Hill Regional Gallery, Westpac Bank, University of Melbourne, The Hayman Island Hotel, Government House, Darwin.
